Business Plan
This project was created as part of my "Principles of Entrepreneurship" couse. This project was put together over the course of the semester and much research went into the creation of the plan.

I have a passion for baseball and softball so I created a business plan for an indoor baseball/softball facility where athletes and teams could practice and also get individualized instruction. This project showed me how much thought and research needs to go into starting up a new business.

Internship Project-BFR Sports and Fitness

Upon completing my internship at Bluffton Family Recreation, I created a project that would leave a lasting impression on the company. I created an event plan for a wiffleball tournament. The recreation center is always looking for new ideas and activities to bring in more revenue. I thought that a wiffleball tournament would be a good idea because it is something that they have never done before and could draw in more people from the community who do not play soccer or basketball. It is also an event that could be implemented with both youth and adults.

Projects

The "Introduction to Sport and Event Management" course I took taught me a lot about event planning and how complex it is. As a final project for the class, I had to create an event to be held either at the University of Findlay or in the Findlay community. I had to create a detailed plan for a successful event.

Being a softball player, I created a softball tournament because I am passionate about the sport and there is a suitable complex in the community for tournaments to be held. This would be a good way to bring in people from other communities and would benefit Findlay economically.

Marketing Flyer

This flyer was created during the Cleveland Indians' College Ticket Sales Program my "Conecssions and Ticket Sales Management" course participated in.  An assignment for the program was to create a marketing flyer that could help to increase ticket sales. The flyers were then sent to the Indians where their sales staff "graded" each one and selected the top flyers and winners.
